Trinity Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc.
- Trinity Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc or T.A.R.F for short
- Trinity is the 501c3 Non-Profit arm of DVS
- Exists to promote the medical care and safety of animals that are a part of cruelty cases throughout Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia
- 100% of the proceeds from T.A.R.F. go to injured or neglected animals and their care while at DVS.
- Typical case work consists of but not limited to the following:
- Starvation/Neglect
- Hoarding
- Trauma (Stabbing, Gunshot wounds, strangulation, etc.)
- Rape and sexual acts towards animals
- Cases range from forensic evaluations and intake examinations to surgical interventions for injuries sustained while in abuse situations.
- Funds are also made available for nursing care and boarding costs while the animals are in care.
- ALL animals in care of Trinity are kept confidential until their trial closure and the appropriate appeal time has lapsed before they are available for adoption.
- Due to the sensitivity of the cases, many situations warrant privacy for the animals and the defendants.
- Both Trinty and DVS believe all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and has no bias in its care of the animals. All cases are handled on a factual, non-biased basis.
- T.A.R.F. IS NOT A PUBLIC intake facility. We only handle cases from law enforcement or referrals from outside rescue organizations that already have established veterinary client patient relationships with DVS.
