A client is you the human, the patient is the animal. Our practice defines our Veterinary Client Patient Relationship, or VCPR, as an annual relationship. Meaning for me to accurately care for your pet they must be seen on an annual basis in order to authorize medications, give advice, etc. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis and are embedded in your charts from the Doctors. Our practice reserves the right to refuse any request for medication or advice on any patient, especially when a valid VCPR doesn't exist.
in Genesis 7:16, the Bible says, "It was just as God had commanded Noah.
Then the Lord closed the door behind them."
In the Old Testament, Noah warned folks the rain was coming, and the ARK would be closed. Currently, we cannot meet the needs of our existing clients and continue to add to our family.
