Mission
Dr. Deaton believes in the healing power of the Lord coupled with medicine to bring your pet into its best life!
Our mission is to provide high quality, compassionate and affordable veterinary care to keep pets healthy longer in their homes and reduce the euthanasia rate in Cherokee County and the surrounding region. Our commitment to that mission is demonstrated by offering affordable pricing for spay/neuter, vaccines, and many other services. We offer service from our Cedar Bluff, Alabama clinic. We are partners with local 501(c)3 rescue organizations to provide the highest level of service possible to the citizens of Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia. The ultimate goal is to provide compassionate, affordable care for small animals and our values are empathy, transparency, honesty, and integrity. Dr. Jeremy Deaton is the founder of the Surgery Center, along with local 501(c)3 nonprofits based out of Cherokee County, AL. After nearly 7 years of private practice, Jeremy left the financial security of an extremely busy practice to follow his dream of working full time to help others, both humans and animals. His team integrates the fundamental root of veterinary medicine, the human-animal bond, to minister and love on both the owners and their animals. We utilize specialist referrals to local practitioners that are skilled in the particular area or board-certified specialists at regional referral centers. *We train and utilize the expertise of veterinary, veterinary technician, and veterinary assistant students. Please understand these students are under direct supervision by both doctors, however they are in training. If a veterinary student is asked to evaluate your animal, please understand that one of our Drs. will be going over your animal as well! We like for them to go first and then help them understand what they missed or see what they find. We are a teaching facility.* |
