Our mission is to provide high quality, compassionate and affordable veterinary care to help keep pets healthy longer in their homes and reduce the euthanasia rate in Cherokee County and the surrounding region. Our commitment to that mission is demonstrated by offering affordable pricing for spay/neuter, vaccines, and many other services.
We offer service from our Cedar Bluff, Alabama clinic but travel frequently to other locations for low vaccine and wellness clinics.
We are partners with local 501(c)3 rescue organizations to provide the highest level of service possible to the citizens of Northeast Alabama.
Our goal is to provide compassionate, affordable care for small animals and our values are empathy, transparency, honesty, and integrity.
Dr. Jeremy Deaton is the founder of the Surgery Center, along with local 501(c)3 nonprofits based out of Cherokee County, AL. After nearly 7 years of private practice, Jeremy left the financial security of an extremely busy practice to follow his dream of working full time to help others, both humans and animals. He is an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Auburn University and teaches Engaging Underserved Communities in Veterinary Medicine as an elective to 2nd and 3rd year veterinary students. He is also the founder of Healthy Child Club International, which serves as a feeding program to over a thousand underprivileged children in southwestern India. His team integrates the fundamental root of veterinary medicine, the human-animal bond, to minister and love on both the owners and their animals.
*We train and utilize the expertise of veterinary, veterinary technician, and veterinary assistant students. Please understand these students are under direct supervision by myself, however they are in training. We are a teaching facility.*
